Actor Kevin Costner’s wife, Christine Costner, has filed for divorce after 18 years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
Confirming the news, Kevin’s representative expressed sadness about the situation and asked for privacy for the family during this difficult time.
The couple shares three children together, ages 12, 14, and 15, and Christine has requested joint custody. Kevin filed his response on Tuesday, also asking for joint custody.
It was revealed that there was a prenuptial agreement, and Christine is not seeking spousal support.
This is the second marriage for the “Yellowstone” star.
