Dana Air may soon resume flight operations soon as it just concluded its internal Safety Management Systems (SMS) Training for top management staff and post holders.

This is said to be a part of preparation for the resumption of flight operations by the airline after it was suspended by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

The Accountable Manager of the airline Ememobong Ettete confirmed that the airline had made tremendous progress in the audit of its operation as directed by the NCAA.

In a statement, he said:

“We have just concluded our Safety Management Systems training for top management staff and post holders.

“The NCAA audit is also still ongoing and we have made a huge progress having upped the ante on all our processes and procedures, but the SMS training is a periodic training for staff to enhance their knowledge on safety both in the office and across all aspects of our operations.”

It should be recalled that the Director-General of NCAA, Capt. Musa Nuhu had earlier stated, “we are working with Dana assiduously to see how the issue can be resolved”.
