A 500-level student identied as Modestus Hyacinth Egbulefu, has reportedly commited suicide after taking hard drug in Ikwuano council area, Abia State.
The deceased, who is a student of Michael Okpara University Of Agriculture Umudike, (MOUAU) from the Department of Electrical/Electronic Engineering reportedly jumped from a 3 storey building identified as Groom Base Lodge, after allegedly taking some substances suspected to be ”Mkpuru mmiri.”
It was gathered that this occurred at about 9:40am on Sunday at the lodge and it was further learnt that he died on the spot before he could receive medical attention.
