AC Milan keen on Nigeria-Born French Ligue One Top Scorer Folarin Balogun

Italian giants AC Milan are interested in signing 21-year-old Nigeria-born Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun ahead of next season.

According to a report by Calciomercatoweb, AC Milan are keen on having the services of the Arsenal striker. The 21-year-old, who is currently on loan at Stade Reims, has been on fire in the ongoing season.

His performances have not gone unnoticed and a lot of clubs across Europe are likely to push for him in the summer.

Italian giants are one of the clubs that are keen on having him in their ranks. Balogun has been a part of the Arsenal setup since his childhood days. He came up through the ranks but couldn’t break into the first team and has been subject to multiple loan moves away from the club.

However, the 21-year-old has surely managed to get into the limelight through his heroics for the French side in the ongoing season. Balogun joined Stade Reims ahead of the start of the 2022/23 season and he has impressed one and all with his performances in the French league.

The Nigeria-born has featured in 27 matches in the ongoing season and has 18 goal contributions to his name. The Arsenal loanee is fifth in the Golden Boot race having scored 15 goals in the French top flight. Balogun is four goals behind Jonathan David and would surely give it his best to try and win the Golden Boot.
