Davido’s Lawyer, Prince Bobo, has reacted to Wizkid losing his two Grammy nominations on Sunday night.
With surprise, he went on Twitter to disclose how he felt about The Recording Academy (Grammy) not recognizing Wizkid’s struggle.
While many wanted him to throw shade or mock Wizkid, he said Wizkid deserved to win an award.
According to him, Wizkid deserves an award for his song ‘Essence‘, while noting the award belongs to Essence but Grammy gave it to Arooj Aftab’s ‘Mohabbat’.
He made it clear that he is not usually one to contribute to music industry drama, but he feels he had to say the truth.
He tweeted, “I don’t know much, and don’t speak much on these things, but we ALL KNOW that award belonged to ‘Essence’. They gave the world an ANTHEM.”
