The experienced radio broadcaster Mantsoe Tsatsi, affectionately known as Pout, made her triumphant return to radio station 947. Pout is rejoining the station as the host of 947’s Weekend Breakfast Show, following the departure of Hulisani Ravele as she takes a sabbatical from both the airwaves and TV screens.
Mantsoe had departed from 947 in 2021 as part of changes to the drive show, which came after DJ Fresh’s departure. Given that her previous stint at the station was abruptly cut short, her decision to return when the station extended the invitation was an easy one.
Pout recognizes that despite her familiarity with the environment, it feels like a fresh start. She expressed this sentiment, saying, “I have grown so much since my last tenure here. This marks a new chapter in steering my career in the direction I’ve always aspired to go, and feeling the support of my managers and the 947 team is truly gratifying.”
