2026 World Cup Qualifier: Nigeria Match Officials Take Charge Of Tunisia, Sao Tome Game

After a long period of absence, Nigeria’s match officials are back in business in African football.

The African soccer governing body has appointed Ogabor Joseph as the Centre Referee for the 2026 World Cup qualifier involving Tunisia and Sao Tome and Principe.

Pwadutakam Samuel will serve as Assistant Referee 1 and Igho Hope will work as Assistant Referee 2.

Bashir Salisu will be the 4th Official with Boureima Attama as the Referee Assessor while Ghouti Mohammed from Algeria will be the Match Commissioner.

Nigeria match officials have been off duty for quite a long period missing out on some key international matches and major competitions.
