Ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, the Warriors of Zimbabwe have arrived in Huye the venue of their Match-day One and Two.

The team under coach Brito Beltarman arrived in Kigali at the King Pele Stadium last weekend where they’ve been training ahead of the two World Cup qualifier matches.

Only 12 players trained in the morning before their departure to Huye and the remaining players are expected to arrive on Tuesday.

Zimbabwe will face the Amavubi of Rwanda in the opening group game before hosting the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the same venue next week.

The last time Zimbabwe hosted the Super Eagles in a World Cup qualifier was in 2005 in Harare and Nigeria won 3-0.
