The Federation of Algeria Football ( FAF) has finally named Vladimir Petkovic as the head coach of the Desert Foxes.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles’ out-of-contract coach Jose Peseiro was the main target of FAF but both parties disagreed on financial grounds.
The North African country under Sadi Wadi decided to approach other coaches for the vacant position.
The football body in Algeria on Thursday announced Petkovic as the coach of the team.
“The FAF announces the finalization of the agreement appointing the new national coach.
The Bosnian coach Mr. Vladimir PETKOVIC is the new national coach ,” the body made official.
