Africa’s apex football organ, Confederation of African Football (CAF) has assigned Souleiman Ahmed Djama from Djibouti to be in charge of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Group C Matchday 2 qualifying game between Warriors of Zimbabwe and Super Eagles.

The 20,000-capacity Huye Stadium in Rwanda will host the tie after Zimbabwe failed to get the nod to host their home games in Harare, owing to the poor state of the 60,000-capacity National Sports Stadium.

Djama who will ref the game, will be assisted by fellow Djiboutians Liban Abdoulrazack Ahmed (Assistant Referee 1), and Rachid Waiss Bouraleh (Assistant Referee 2) while Mohamed Diraneh Guedi (Fourth Official).

Yohannes Ghirmai Ghebregziabher from Eritrea will be in the role of Referee Assessor and Raphael Lyson Humba from Malawi will be the Match Commissioner.
