FIBA Youth Camp: BK Arena Ready To Host Nigeria, 14 Other Countries

The BK Arena in Kigali Rwanda is ready to host female players from Nigeria and 14 other countries in the 2023 FIBA African Youth camp, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

FIBA ​​Africa is making a point of continuing its development project this year, and as part of this initiative, the FIBA ​​Africa Regional Youth Camp will take place in 2023, after two successful editions in 2021 and 2022.

The girls-only camp will take place in Kigali, Rwanda from September 26-28. In each camp, 45 players from 15 countries and 15 coaches will be in action, with 15 female coaches for the Kigali camp.

FIBA Africa has collaborated with some of the most renowned personalities in African basketball to organize these Regional Youth Camps, including Astou N’Diaye, NBA Africa Ambassador, Christelle Ngarsanet, former player of the Ivorian National Team and assistant coach at Florida International University, Robert Pack, former NBA player for 13 seasons, Rwanda Energy Group (REG) head coach during Basketball Africa League season 2, FIBA ​​coach Cheick Sarr and legend of NBA Olumide Oyedeji ( Nigeria).
