Heartland FC Technical Adviser, Christian Obi has challenged his players to be alive to their responsibilities and strive to redouble their efforts towards getting a favourable result on Sunday against Kano Pillars in a NPFL Matchday 19 tie.

Obi, who lost his first game since the start of his second stint in charge of the team wants the players to approach their weekend NPFL Matchday 19 tie with Kano Pillars with the seriousness and attention it requires to ensure the game ends positively.

“It was a fair performance from the boys but they must sit up and try to be more focused for the entirety of the game. We scored two goals for the first time in an away game this season but we committed some mistakes in defence and let in goals that we could have avoided.

“The players just need to redouble their efforts and ensure they play with absolute focus. The game with Kano Pillars is a game we must win. We must go all out for it.”
