Rasheedat Ajibade, Nnadozie Sparkle As Madugu Drills Attackers On Shooting Accuracy

Super Falcons of Nigeria had their second training session on Friday evening after their return from Ethiopia and had their first training on Friday.

The nine-time African champions had played a 1-1 draw with Ethiopia in the first leg of the Second Round in Ethiopia with the Second leg holding next Tuesday at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja.

The team took their preparations to another level on Saturday evening as they hope to seal a spot and participate at the 2024 Olympics Games.

In training which started at 4:00pm and ended 6:00pm, the interim Head Coach of the team, Justin Madugu towards the end of the session drilled the attackers on shooting accuracy where Rasheedat Ajibade and Asisat Oshoala showed high level of scoring experience while taking on the three goalkeepers interchangeably in the training.

The practice started by pushing the players fitness level to the highest, warming up immediately they entered the pitch on the natural grass pitch before setting up the wingers, full backs and attackers facing the defenders and goalkeeper in tactical training to increase their scoring ability.  In-form Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie made wonderful saves that caught the attention of the spectators at the Turf during the training

20 players participated.in.the practice ahead of their next Tuesday’s Olympics qualifier. The nine-time African champions had missed playing at the Olympics in the last three editions.
