In the recognition to their excellent contributions and commitment to the growth and development of sports in the country, the son of Nigeria President, Seyi Tinubu, Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazak, Nigeria Football Federation President, Ibrahim Gusau, Founder Naija Ratels, Barrister Paul Edeh, former Super Eagles Striker, Benedict Akwuegbu, Chairman Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Gbenga Elegbeleye and 15 others will be honoured with different categories of sports awards.
Others are: Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, Super Falcons captain to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, Onome Ebi, Nigeria Volleyball Federal President, Musa Nimrod, Sam Ogbuche, Mahmud Hadejia, Prince Ogunjinmi Abayomi, Chikelue Iloenyonsi.
The award ceremony will hold later this month at the Merit House, Maitama Abuja.
