Coach Usman Abdallah is upbeat that the Super Eagles B team will finish the job and qualify ahead of Ghana for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Algeria.
Nigeria must be at their best against the Black Galaxies in Abuja on Saturday, and must score more than two goals to advance to the tournament billed for 2023.
Ghana won last weekend thanks to an impressive second-half performance that included both goals and is determined to seal qualification, but Nigeria has other plans.
“With the crop of players currently in camp, we have all it takes to qualify for the CHAN in Algeria,” he said
“We have a good set of players from the local league, some of them have played in the main Super Eagles, so the exposure is there,” he added.
The winner of the tie will play in a tournament which will be held in Algeria next year.
